Government Authority located in North Carolina; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for property and casualty claims third party administration services.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide property and casualty claims third party administration services.
- Supervise, administer, manage and handle all assigned claims, including subrogation claims, loss adjustments, investigations and settlements falling within the city’s self-funded retention or its excess coverage.
- Maintain a separate and complete claim file for each reported claim or loss, including all information related to the particular claim, such information shall include claim number, claimant’s name, date of loss, date reported, date paid and the amount of each payment.
- Perform reasonable and necessary administrative and clerical work in connection with claims or losses including but not limited to the preparation of check requests, checks or vouchers, compromises, releases and other documents to finalize a claim.
- Coordinate investigations on litigated claims with attorneys assigned by the city and with adjusters and attorneys of the excess insurance carriers where applicable including but not limited to the negotiation of settlement and preparation of subrogation and contribution actions;
- Provide claim forms, documents and other pertinent data necessary for the efficient administration to the city project manager upon request;
- Maintain all claims records and filings as may be required by law, records can be kept electronically as long as a complete reproduction of the claim file, including reports, photos, documents, notes, etc. is made available to the city upon request.
- Provide loss prevention recommendations including procedures and resources used by self-insurers or programs serviced by the Company, as triggered by a specific loss.
(2) A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on April 10, 2019.
(3) All questions must be submitted in writing no later than April 15, 2019.
(4) A contract term will be for three years.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office premises.
