Government Authority located in Cary, North Carolina; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for waste water pumping stations SCADA design services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide waste water pumping stations SCADA design services to the government authority located in Cary, NC.
• Review existing SCADA system to gain familiarity with the system design and architecture, identify ancillary equipment that may need replacement or upgrade (electrical, pump control panels, equipment signals, etc.), and develop preliminary recommendations for updating the system.
• Facilitate workshop with Town staff to discuss results of initial assessment.
• Prepare a Technical Memo detailing initial observations and recommended upgrades.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and contract documents for all items required for the successful installation of the new hardware and data to the existing SCADA.
• Obtain all necessary regulatory approvals required to install the improvements.
• Prepare detailed strategy for integration of new hardware and data into existing SCADA system
• Throughout design, the consultant shall meet with Town staff for review and comment on the design (at minimum 50%, 75%, 90% and 100% stages of design). Sufficient review documents shall be provided to facilitate effective review.
• Provide a technical memo with all design considerations and associated information.
• All contract drawings shall be generated in AutoCAD. A copy of the final construction drawings, including all revisions due to addenda, shall be provided to the Town in AutoCAD and PDF formats prior to notice to proceed for construction. After construction is complete, record drawings shall be prepared and provided to the Town as two sets of large format plans as well as in electronic format in both AutoCAD and read-only Windows-compatible format (.pdf, .tif, or equal)
• The Consultant shall prepare contract specifications for each construction contract in Microsoft Word or a compatible software. A copy of the final specifications, including all revisions due to addenda, shall be provided to the Town in Microsoft Word format and in read-only Windows compatible format (.pdf, .tif, or equal) prior to notice to proceed for construction.
• Up to five printed and bound copies of the construction documents (plans and specifications), including revisions due to addenda, shall be provided to the Town upon request for use during construction.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 18, 2019.
(3) A pre-proposal meeting will be held on April 9, 2019.
