[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide international field trip services in grades 6-12, and provide support services to school faculty organizing trips with student groups outside of the united states to the government authority located in Charlotte, NC.
• Have the council on standards for international student exchange accreditation or another accreditation
• Demonstrate an excellent safety history, strong financial stability and reputation
• Have a Certificate of Liability Insurance
• Have well-established procedures for the vetting and training of the adults working with and supervising student group activities and homestay opportunities
• Have clear safety guidelines as well as clear medical and crisis management procedures
• Monitor and respond to the U.S. department of state and the center for disease control travel advisories
• Align the educational experience abroad with the standard course of study
• Focus on language and culture immersion, service learning, global leadership cultural exchange trips with possible homestay components
• Have experience working with K-12 public school districts
• Provide ADA reasonable accommodations for students with special needs
• Offer travel and health insurance options to participants
• Offer options to make trips accessible to all students (such as scholarships or other financial aid)
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 18, 2018.
